The Juli Solarform booth was managed by members of our team from Belgium, China, Hong Kong, and Canada. It was a good time to meet with local installers, distributors, and other players in the growing PV solar business. Attendees were impressed with our professional team and our quality PV module offering. As a fully integrated module supplier we have the scale and flexibility to work directly with our solar partners to competitively grow the business to our mutual success. Attendees came primarily from the Belgium and Holland markets. "We look forward to building our business in these newer markets and believe our success will depend on our long term view as well as our agile and flexible approach to doing business." Bill Melnik, President, Solarform Canada Another Grid Tied, Renewable Energy Project in Ontario for Solarform Canada Ltd. TORONTO, Aug. 30, 2011 /CNW/ - Solarform announces the commissioning of their most recent 250kW AC solar plant that was connected to the grid this month under the Ontario Feed in Tariff (FIT) program. "This system incorporates all that we have learned from our first few systems and was faster, easier to build and less costly" says VP Sales Steve Bellamy. "We were only given 30,000 sq ft of a large 110,000 sq ft. building so we challenged the engineering team who were able to fit over 300kW DC on the space. This accomplishment was a major achievement in the solar industry and represented great value to the building owner while leaving the additional roof space for solar expansion in the future." Solarform promotes a raised roof solution which ties the interior columns to the solar structure. This method minimizes snow build-up in winter months and allows the panels to run at cooler ambient temperatures ensuring better performance and efficiency. Higher yields can be expected from this raised solution compared to traditional ballasted systems which sit on the roof deck. Solarform, a solar panel distributor has supplied the modules to these systems using their high output Juli New Energy Panels which are made under licence by OSM Solar Corp in Welland Ontario. This license agreement allows for 15% Ontario Content under the guidelines issued by the OPA. "This is our second large-scale, raised-roof solar facility. Developing sites like this allows us to continue to expand our knowledge and develop world class solar solutions in Ontario and North America" says Bill Melnik, President Solarform Canada Ltd. "We assist our clients by modeling high output, quality solar plants as solar farms, rooftop solar or micro fit solar. We have the engineering and expertise to model the best and highest yielding systems".
